Chemetall Ges.m.b.H. is aware of its responsibility to society and the environment. The cornerstones of our actions are economy, ecology and social obligation. Our objective is to develop and manufacture products such that they can be safely produced, safely used and that concomitant production waste is avoided or utilised or, if neither avoidable nor reusable, suitably disposed of. Safety and environmental protection are a challenge which we face with initiative and responsibility.
The management is responsible for implementing the safety and environmental policy and obliges all employees to continuously cooperate in the improvement of the environmentally-oriented work, the prevention of environmental pollution and the avoidance of work accidents. Annual safety and environmental objectives are agreed for the entire organisation of Chemetall Ges.m.b.H. and their compliance verified. A continuous objective is maintaining an effective safety management system according to BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and an environmental management system according to ISO 14001:2004.
